The OC-Team
The organizing committee consists of a volunteer team that has been preparing the 2024 World Rowing Masters Regatta since the beginning of 2022. During this time, there were many things for the individual working groups to do in order to be able to implement the event.
The 2024 World Rowing Masters Regatta will be the biggest event on the regatta course to date. Thus, many things had to be considered and partly redesigned in advance.
The city of Brandenburg an der Havel has been a reliable partner in all things for many years and is also actively available to us for this event. We are looking forward to welcome all active participants and visitors in Brandenburg an der Havel.

The whole country in one city
Brandenburg an der Havel is the oldest city in the federal state of Brandenburg and gave it its name in 1990. The independent regional center is located only 70 km west of Berlin. Due to favorable highway and trunk road connections and regional trains running every 20 minutes, both the German capital Berlin and the state capitals Potsdam and Magdeburg can be reached easily and quickly.
Due to extensive redevelopment work in the three historic city centers, many newly developed residential areas, important infrastructure measures, a wide range of cultural offerings and successful settlements of federal and state authorities as well as nationally and internationally active companies, Brandenburg an der Havel has developed into an attractive place to live, reside and work. The population has risen to more than 72,500 in recent years and continues to grow.
