On September 30th and October 1st 2023, tests of a new arrangement for the starting pontoons at the Brandenburg Regional Championships were conducted. These tests were conducted on six of eight lanes and were an important step in our preparations for the 2024 World Rowing Masters. Uwe Philipp, manager of the Beetzsee regatta course, draws a positive summary of the test:
The results were promising, but there is still some fine tuning to be done to optimize the right distance between the pontoons. However, we are confident that we are on the right track and working hard to ensure that everything will run smoothly next year.
